Guest Biography
Lisa Middleton served two terms on the Palm Springs City Council from 2017-2024, serving as mayor from December 2021-December 2022 becoming the third Transgender person to serve as mayor of an American city. Lisa currently serves as a Governor's appointee on the Board of Administration of the California Public Employees Retirement System. CalPERS provides to over 2.4 million people and is responsible for the investment of over half a trillion dollars in assets. Lisa served as Vice President of the League of California Cities and currently serves on four non-profit Boards including the Equality California Institute and The Campaign School at Yale. |
